full_height=&#8221;yes&#8221; equal_height=&#8221;yes&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #870038;\">The Lungarotti Foundation ETS<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Historical Background<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Lungarotti Foundation ETS was established in 1987 by Giorgio and Maria Grazia Lungarotti, continuing the scholarly and scientific research activities initiated in the early 1960s for the development of the Wine Museum.\u00a0These activities have continued unceasingly over the decades through the organisation of exhibitions, conferences and publications focusing on museum-related themes and collections.<br \/>\nAfter more than fifty years of scientific and museum activity led by Maria Grazia Marchetti Lungarotti, the Foundation continues its work today under the direction of Teresa Severini, preserving the original cultural vision while further developing it through new initiatives in research, promotion and public engagement.<br \/>\nBased in Torgiano, the Foundation is responsible for the management of the MUVIT \u2013 Wine Museum of Torgiano and the MOO \u2013 Olive and Olive Oil Museum, the Foundation\u2019s second museum, which opened to the public in 2000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Institutional Aims<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Lungarotti Foundation is dedicated to the development and management of the Wine Museum and the Olive and Olive Oil Museum in Torgiano, to the preservation and promotion of their collections, and, more broadly, to the pursuit of cultural activities, with particular emphasis on museology, art and cultural history in connection with local architecture and monuments, as well as viticulture, olive growing and agriculture in general.<br \/>\nIts activities focus in particular on the organisation of exhibitions, conferences, publications, lectures and round-table discussions, through which the Foundation has received prestigious international recognition in the fields of museology, art and cultural history, agriculture, viticulture and olive oil production.
